But the thing is, since you checked one value, so it may be sometimes an anxiety can increase BP, and the stress or during the anxiousness, the BP will increase. So we can't consider this as a real hypertension. So to say it is a real hypertension, you have to check BP three times a day. That means you have to take rest for 10 minutes. Should not be indulging in any stressful activities. You have to sit for 10 minutes and after that, you check. So make a BP diary. Like that, early morning, 8:00 after wake up. Check once with a digital BP apparatus or with the routine BP apparatus, and make a note of that. You have to check BP in three times a day for three days in three different timings.
