My 1.8-year-old child has recently started staring at fans and repeatedly saying ‘fan fan fan,’ especially when we visit a relative’s house. While he seems to be developing normally in other areas, I’m concerned about this specific behavior. Should I be worried or is this just a phase?”

While this can be as simple condition as learning new word and excited about repeating it, one must also note any autistic behavior like poor social interaction, obsessive interests and repetitive behaviors. Or if any seizure like activity associated, one must consult your pediatrician.
