Hi, this is Dr. Ramana. Based on your complaint of left-sided headache, you did not mention your age or profession, which are important factors in assessing your condition. Left-sided headaches, or headaches that occur on one side, are often caused by migraines. Migraines can be triggered by factors such as work-related stress, lack of sleep, irregular meals, and stress in general.

If you are in the software profession, these triggers could be particularly relevant to you, as the nature of your work can lead to poor lifestyle habits, such as irregular sleep and meal patterns.

Migraines can also cause symptoms like sensitivity to light (especially daylight) and sound, which can worsen the headache. Watching TV for long periods or using your phone late at night can also aggravate the condition.

Since you are experiencing migraine symptoms, I suggest you take the following steps:

Take prescribed migraine medication as advised ie, Napra-D 250 mg morning and night for five days.

Combine this with relaxation techniques such as yoga to help reduce stress.

Follow a healthy, balanced diet rich in fresh vegetables.

Remember that a CT scan is not usually necessary for diagnosing migraines unless there are other specific concerns, MRI would be more helpful in such a situation not CT

Please monitor your symptoms to see if the headache subsides or continues, and based on that, you might need to visit your physician who can evaluated further and adjust your treatment plan accordingly. Thank you

Hello, sir. You mentioned severe headache. You didn’t grade how much it is bothersome, right? You can’t do any work because of headache. You have to mention which side is headache, whether it was associated within a watering of eyes, any ringing things in the ear, whether it is associated with any other symptoms, or it is aggravated with any sounds and any light, exposed to light colors, more severe headache. You didn’t mention as per a statement, you didn’t mention your age too. the so-called severe headaches have a more complex entity like subdural haemorrhage, So severe headache mean like thunder, a headache which you never experienced in your lifetime. But as I routinely encountered so many people daily, if it was presented with tension could be tension head ache too, as migraine goes like if it is your headache is one side which increases on exposed to light, hearing loud sounds and which subsides with the sleep, when you go to sleep and also the diming light helps then it may be a migraine. Migraines need further evaluation by physician, so please visit your physician.

Like if you have any running nose, if you have any heaviness along with headache it might be sinusitis. You can see that time you have to take Amoxiclav antibiotic, 625 Mg per morning and night, and also Montelukast have to take night for five days and you have to take a rest. Also, paracetamol two times, three times a day, depending upon your severity. And avoid cold water drinking and or take hot water. And moreover, it is an idiopathic headache. Sometimes there is no reason. It might be stress-related. So, you have to mention which side is the headache or what makes get the headache relieved and What makes your headache increase, if still headache do not subside then, you have to consult a good physician and you might need to go further with the MRI brain. Thank you.

s your age is 22, the value which you mentioned is 122 by 100. As systolic blood pressure 130, and diastolic blood pressure is 90, is normal. 130 by 90 is normal. But you have diastolic blood pressure more than 90, that is 100. So it is considered as hypertension only. But the thing is, since you checked one value, so it may be sometimes an anxiety can increase BP, and the stress or during the anxiousness, the BP will increase. So we can’t consider this as a real hypertension. So to say it is a real hypertension, you have to check BP three times a day. That means you have to take rest for 10 minutes. Should not be indulging in any stressful activities. You have to sit for 10 minutes and after that, you check. So make a BP diary. Like that, early morning, 8:00 after wake up. Check once with a digital BP apparatus or with the routine BP apparatus, and make a note of that. You have to check BP in three times a day for three days in three different timings.

First day at 8:00, second day, 9:00, third day, 10:00. 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM. And afternoon, we check 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, and evening at 8:00 PM, 9:00 PM, 10:00 PM. So Because of the stress, because of the anxiety, you can have this type of BP. To say that you are hypertensive, high BP in a  single reading cannot called a hypertension. It can be a mechanical It can be a stressful condition. So make sure that you record three days, three times BP recordings. If that shows more than 130 by 90, three different occasions, we’ll consider as it is BP, you have a hypertension. But as your age suggest, it is not possible to have a BP like that unless you have a kidney disease, unless you have a congenal hypertherapyroidism, or unless you have any adrenaline gland diseases like complex to simply explain. And moreover, avoid smoking, avoid the excessive cell phone seeing at night time. So Sleep at 8 hours. Take good diet, balanced diet, that means which contains both non-veg, veg, greenleaf vegetables and vegetables. Avoid smoking, if at all, you are smoker. And take 8 hours sleep per day, and take yoga, morning and evening, if you have time.

Take one time yoga. That is to maintain BP at normal levels, and avoid high salt diet, smoky foods, smoky meat products. And moreover, after the diary, if you read your values less than 139, that means you don’t have any BP, hypertension. You are normal.
