RE: scratched by street dog… what to do?
hello doctor, My 6 year son with no other health problem has been scratched by street dog with its nails yesterday while playing outside, could you please suggest what to do?

His wound must be thoroughly cleaned with plain water and soap soon after the incident. He should receive rabies vaccine as soon as possible. If there was bleeding from wound he will need rabies immunoglobulins also visit the pediatrician for complete analysis of the scratches and further course of treatment
